Today, I am struggling. I am tired. My list of things to do seems to keep growing bigger instead of smaller. Some days are just hard – and sometimes they seem to overlap one into another.

I’m just being real.

Yes, I’m excited for what is to come – and the anticipation keeps growing, and that makes me even more excited!

But I’m also tired. I’m tired of the fight. I’m tired of the lies. I’m tired of the enemy’s boldness. Who does he think he is? Does he really not know what our God is capable of? Don’t get me started!

I’m just sick of this battle – and some days it seems like it will never end.

I know I can’t be the only one feeling this way. Please drop a note in the comments below if you are in the same boat – and we can pray for each other.

When I feel this way, I know I need time with the Lord. So off I went to my prayer corner this morning, and He met me there. It took longer than it normally does to quiet my thoughts, but I was determined to spend time with Him. I needed it.

In the spirit, Jesus took me into a giant cave here on earth. It was beautiful – breathtaking.

I felt small in this giant cave. Where we were standing, it would normally be dark, but when Jesus is near – His glory lights up the darkness. I could see everything clearly.

He knows I love adventures, so I immediately started asking questions. I’ll make this quick by telling you what He told me.

This cave was not in the United States. He didn’t tell me where it was.
The cave we were in was in the middle of a mountain. (Really cool!)
This cave was untouched by anything evil.

We were walking along a small stream that led to a pool of water, and as we walked – I could see a tiny bit of sunlight peeking through at the top of the cave.

There were no fish in this little pool.
It wasn’t very deep, and the water was clear.
There were stalagmites and stalactites all around me.
There were also large rock formations that the explorer in me wanted to climb.
This cave was huge!
He also said there were many places on earth yet to be discovered by man. This was one of them.

He took great delight in answering all of my questions. I was in awe of this cave. It was wonderful. And it was then that I realized all of my frustrations had melted away. Just five minutes in His presence was all it took. I felt replenished and strong – ready for anything!

Jesus said, “I brought you here away from all the noise for a reason. I need you to rest. You work hard, and I know it’s difficult for you to step away and find rest.

I want you to share this with all of My children – for many have grown weary, and the battle we are in will get more intense as we move forward – and it’s important for My children to rest.

I invite all who are weary to come and sit with Me. I will bring you to a place where you can rest and get replenished with the things you need to continue to fight and move forward.

This battle will end soon, and I want you to find rest in Me.

To forge ahead in the battle, you will encounter the opposition in many different ways – but I want you to know I am with you every step of the way.

Together – we will forge through it. We will walk through the fire, and you will be unharmed.

In the coming days and months, you will continue to be shocked at the boldness of your enemy. He wants you to be shocked. He wants you to be angry. He wants you to fight back in anger so he can make a spectacle out of you.

Do not act in anger – come to Me, let Me guide you – and together, we will make a spectacle out of the enemy.

We will turn the tables on him. We will use what he meant for harm and turn it into something good.

We have reached a point now where the enemy is going to push his agenda harder and faster. He wants to speed things up because he is angry.

But he will not be successful. His evil plans will boomerang back onto him. Look for it. Expect it. Remember – I know ALL of his plans.

Do not fear any of it. Instead, trust and have faith in Me – and PRAY. Your prayers are effective in stopping the enemy. I hear them and send multitudes of angels to fight on your behalf.

My children – I am with you in the storm. I know many of you are struggling and experiencing difficulties right now. I see you. I hear you. And I want you to know that I love you.

That is why I am asking you to seek Me – so you will find the rest and peace you desperately need.

I have not abandoned you. I am here. Let Me hold you. Let Me encourage you. Let Me show you the blessings I have for you. Let Me teach you the things you need to know – for good changes are coming, and I want you to be ready!

Come to Me all that are weary and burdened so you may find rest. I will provide everything you need. You only need to ask.

Seek Me, and you will find Me.

If you are tired and weary, you need rest. Come – and I will give you rest. I will rejuvenate your weary soul, and you will find new strength and wisdom to continue on your journey.

I see your hard work. Come! Let Me refresh you and your spirit. Come sit with Me for a while.”

Matthew 11:28-30 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Jeremiah 29:13-14 – “’You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and will bring you back from captivity.’”

Wow, I needed this today! Thank You, Lord, for knowing us so well. Thank You for providing your children with everything we need to continue our journey.

For those that are feeling tired and weary – this is for you today. The Lord – who loves you desperately – is inviting you to come sit with Him. It is in His arms that you will find the rest you so desperately need.

I encourage you to spend time with Jesus. Let Him restore you.

Soon – the enemy will be defeated. Soon – we will celebrate our victory. Soon – we will begin to rebuild all that was lost. But until then, we need to continue forward in this battle of good versus evil – and when you grow weary, go and sit with the Lord. He will take care of all your needs.

In His love,
Kathy
