I needed time with Jesus this morning. I needed His peace, His love, His wisdom. I needed to be in His presence – to get away from the noise, so I went to my prayer corner to praise and worship Him.
And He met me there with open arms.
He is always there – no matter what – no matter how bad my day is. He is there, and it changes everything for me. His presence encompasses me – and all of the fog, frustration, fear, and doubt immediately disappears.
The enemy doesn’t play fair. He is always looking for a way in. It could be a phone call from someone that disrupts your plans and your peace – and once you are done speaking to that person, it shifts your entire day.
It could happen to you when you are driving. It only takes one person to cut you off and the frustration sets in.
Your children or spouse might do or say something that frustrates you. It could be something that happens at work. The enemy seeks every opportunity he can to get your eyes off of Jesus. He distracts you into doing or saying something you normally wouldn’t.
The fog sets in, and the clarity you had when you woke up that morning disappears. It’s such an awful feeling.
I woke up in the middle of the night last night, and I felt this thick, hazy fog all around me. I tried to stand to my feet and almost fell over. I laid down and went back to sleep, but as soon as I woke up this morning, I knew there was more to it.
I prayed until the fog was gone, and I went to seek out the Lord. I asked Him, “Why? Why does this happen?”
He said, “The enemy seeks to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). He looks for opportunities to harm you.
Many of My children over-complicate this. (I am one of them!) Put on the full armor of God. I have given each of you what you need to shut the enemy’s voice down.
Don’t try to debate this with yourself or the enemy. Keep your eyes on Me, and I will guide you in every step you take – even this.
The enemy only has control of you as long as you allow it. The solution is simple – DON’T ALLOW IT! Speak My word over the situation, and the enemy will flee.
The battle for your mind is intense right now. Your enemy has doubled down on his agenda to destroy you because he knows time is running out for him.
Keep it simple. If you are battling anything in your mind or heart, look up scriptures to counter the attack and speak these words out loud. Shut his voice down.
This battle of good versus evil that we are fighting isn’t over yet. Keep your eyes on Me, and you will be protected. It really is that simple.
I have amazing plans for you – plans that bless you and others. The enemy knows this, and he will try and stop you every chance he can get.
Keep your eyes on Me. Stay on the path of righteousness. Help others along the way – for many are struggling right now
Pray for each other. Stay the course. You are braver and stronger than you know. Remember – you are Mine, and I protect what is Mine. You have the army of Heaven on your side.
Keep your eyes on Me. I will help you. I will guide you.
In the days ahead, you will see and hear many strange things. Know that I am aware of all of it, and I am with you.
Keep your eyes on Me – don’t allow the enemy to take anything else from you.
Stand on faith. Pray. Seek Me, and I will hold you in My arms.
Remember – no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17)!
Thank You, Lord! I will keep my eyes on You – always.
We tend to overcomplicate things, and Jesus tells us plainly to keep our eyes on Him. Speak His word, and the devil will flee.
James 4:7 – “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
If you feel that hazy fog, that feeling of grogginess and unclarity – if you feel like God’s peace is far away – speak God’s word that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Look up scriptures that apply to your situation and counter the enemy’s attack with God’s word.
And more than anything else – keep your eyes on Jesus. He has you in His arms. He will hold you up and protect you. Call on His name and Heaven’s army will come to help you!
Now – more than ever, we must keep our eyes on our Savior. The enemy is looking for a way to pierce your armor. He is looking for a way into your life to cause chaos and destruction. Jesus says, “The enemy only has control of you as long as you allow it. The solution is simple – DON’T ALLOW IT! Speak My word over the situation, and the enemy will flee.”
Walk in the power and authority that was freely given to you when Jesus died on the cross. It is by His blood that we have power and authority over our enemy.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, and you will not fail. He loves you, and He only wants you to have the best of everything. You are precious in His sight.
Isaiah 43:4 – “Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’ Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth—everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”
We serve a wonderful and loving God that cares for each one of us deeply. Keep your eyes on Him, for He always has you in His sight. Amen.
