I asked the Lord this morning what was on His heart today, and He referred me to Psalm 28:

“To you, Lord, I call; you are my Rock, do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who go down to the pit. Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.

Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak cordially with their neighbors but harbor malice in their hearts. Repay them for their deeds and for their evil work; repay them for what their hands have done and bring back on them what they deserve.

Because they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord and what his hands have done, he will tear them down and never build them up again.

Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.”

God is our Rock, our Strength, and our Shield. He hears our cries of mercy as we call for help, and He will repay all of the ones participating in evil for the evil deeds they have done.

The world is like this giant puzzle, and it seems as if all the pieces are in complete disarray. There are the dark pieces that represent evil, and there are the pieces that are full of light that represent Jesus and His Kingdom. It is really confusing at times because dark and light are all around us. Just remember – God is there.

There are so many pieces to this giant puzzle that we don’t understand – so many things that have us asking even more questions…but God knows ALL of the pieces to this puzzle. He knows exactly where the pieces are and how they ALL fit perfectly together.

We are a part of the puzzle. We are in the pieces that fit so perfectly together. Even though it seems like we are in a giant maze sometimes, and it feels like we are lost – God is there. He knows exactly where each one of us are at, and He will guide us to where we need to be.

He is our Strength as we move forward.

As I read Psalm 28, I heard the Lord say, “I will give mercy to the ones that call on Me for help. I will protect and shield them from harm. But WOE unto the ones that have committed evil deeds for they will be punished eternally.

My children – I want to remind you today of Who I Am.

Do not listen to your enemy. He is a liar – he whispers lies to you that turn you away from Me.

Know this:

I do love you.
You do matter to Me.
I will protect you.
You are worthy to be loved.

Don’t let the enemy hold you captive any longer. Rebuke him! Turn away from him.

Run to Me! I will hold you close. I will heal you, and I will protect you.

My mercy is for all that call upon My NAME. It is yours – you only need to ask.

Seek Me for wisdom in the things regarding your life. I will teach and show you new things and new ways to prosper in your health, your relationships, your finances, and so much more!

I am here. I want to encourage you – I am here!
I hear you. I see you. I love you.

Your enemy will be destroyed. He will suffer for the harm he has caused to all of My children.

I am your ROCK. I am steadfast. I will not move. I am here – right here. I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

Remember who I Am. I Am your Strength – and I will always be right here for you, My child.”

Glory to God!

I needed this reminder today! Thank You, Lord, for reminding us that You are so close to us. With all the craziness going on not only around the world, but in our everyday lives, it is overwhelming some days. It’s hard to focus on the peace of God. It’s hard to remember sometimes that God is right there with us.

The good news is – He is! He is right there, and all we have to do is call upon His name. He will remind us how much He loves us. He is our Rock, our Redeemer, our Savior. And He is going to take down our enemy – the one who is causing much of the chaos going on around us and the world.

Praise Him today, for He is good! Hallelujah!

Remember who you are in Him. Remember that He loves you, and He will protect you. Remember that the Lord is your strength – today and every day. Amen.

In His love,
Kathy
