Worshipping the Lord is intimate – and it is heartfelt. It comes from deep within you, and it blesses the Lord when you deeply worship Him.
Your heart is connected to His, and it opens up communication between you and Him. It freely flows – and as you continue to worship – it draws you closer to Him – and Him to you.
The Lord sees your heart for Him, and He wants to bless it. It is such a beautiful thing – so tender and loving.
When you worship the Lord – it pushes the enemy back because your worship draws the Lord closer, and the enemy cannot stand in His presence – so he has to flee – every single time.
Obedience is defined as ‘dutiful or submissive, compliance to the commands of one in authority.’ (Dictionary.com)
It is vital that you understand how important obedience is in your relationship with the Trinity. When you obey the Lord, it is Kingdom knowledge that helps you understand the beauty of it.
When you are in unity with the Lord, when you draw closer to Him, you learn His voice – and this is so important because it’s His voice that will guide and direct you. It’s His voice that keeps you from making mistakes. It’s His voice that you learn to trust and obey – because you know that He only wants good things for you.
Obedience is worship because God only wants what is best for you, and when you obey Him, it means you see Him, hear Him, love Him – and you KNOW He will bless and protect you. It brings peace to your mind.
Many of us have walked our own path – we’ve tried to do it without God, and well – we messed it up! He sees the obstacles – and we don’t see them. If we obey, there are so many bad decisions in life that we would avoid. He created us, so He knows what we are meant to do.
There are many different ways to worship the Lord. We sing songs of praise. We spend time alone with Him. We live our lives FOR Him. We obey what He is asking us to do. We love others as Christ loves us. We walk on the path of righteousness and avoid worldly temptations. This is just a few ways to worship our Savior – there are many more.
To keep it simple – Jesus died for us and for our sins, so we should live for Him – helping others along the way – drawing them to Him. He is worthy of our praise and worship. Amen.
This morning, as I was praying and worshipping, Jesus was there – and He took me to Heaven. We sat together in His beautiful garden, and I was overwhelmed with love for Him as he began to speak.
He said, “My heart is for every single one of My children to know how deeply they are loved by Us. We only want GOOD things for them.
We love it when they seek Us; when they sing to Us – and when they obey what We are asking them to do.
Obedience means they are listening for My voice. They are seeking answers to questions they cannot figure out on their own. This brings Us such JOY! For there is much We want to teach and reveal to the ones that are seeking Us with their whole heart!
Your obedience will take you higher – it will take you farther than you ever thought you would go. It will propel you into things you never thought you would be a part of!
Obedience is love – for I see your heart, and I know you want to please Me.
Obedience is worship because it is your love for Me that has brought you to this place – a place of seeking Me for all that you need.
Your obedience to what I’ve called you to do will bless so many others. It will change lives. It will draw others to Me because they see Me in YOU!
As you draw closer to Me, as you seek Me more and more – My heart is full of unending love for you – and I will pour out blessing after blessing because you decided in your heart to obey and say YES.
It is your YES that changes EVERYTHING!
It is your devotion and dedication to that YES that will change your life. For when you say YES, Heaven moves on your behalf. Angels are sent to help you.
It moves My heart, and people in Heaven begin to pray for you. A shift begins here that will manifest for you as you continue to seek Me for instructions and guidance.
Your YES means We will stop at nothing to move mountains for you.
Draw closer to Me, My child. We have big and mighty plans for you. All you have to do is say YES…and We will meet you in the secret place and guide you to your destiny!”
My goodness, our God is so good! I pray that encourages you today!
Say YES! Whatever it is that God is asking you to do – say YES! Someone somewhere needs what YOU have in you. Say YES! Take that step of faith and go for it!
When we obey the Lord, it is one of many different ways that we worship Him. He loves it when we listen to His voice because He knows the many blessings that will come from it. It brings Him so much joy to see us full of peace, love, and radiant joy!
Don’t get caught up in ‘religious rules’ that will harden your heart. Seek Jesus with all of your heart, and He will set your heart and mind on the right path – one that will bless you and many others.
Obedience is such an important part of your relationship with God. He is full of love, and He is passionate about you. He wants to see you succeed. He wants you to be free and full of love and happiness.
When you obey the Lord, you are saying YES to His plans for you – and they are good plans. They are great plans – better than anything you ever hoped for!
Trust in Him – and He will help you spread your wings to soar higher than you’ve ever imagined! Amen!
