When I woke up this morning, I immediately heard the Holy Spirit whisper to me, “Tis the season to be jolly.”
My thoughts immediately went to the song, “Deck the Halls.” I also thought about the season we are in – Christmas and winter. But the more I thought about it, the more I knew there was more to it – so, I went to my prayer corner and began to pray and worship. I knew the Lord had a message for us.
This current season is about more than celebrating the birth of Jesus. It is also about the season we just came from and the one we are in now.
It is a time to be jolly – to celebrate the birth of Jesus, but it’s also a time to be full of joy for the things that are about to take place.
Jesus is joyful. He is happy, and He isn’t worried about the big changes that are coming.
If Jesus isn’t worried, we shouldn’t be either.
As I was writing this down in my journal, I could hear Jesus singing “Deck the Halls.” I then saw Him dancing with others in Heaven. They are all happy and joyful!
I couldn’t resist, so I joined them – dancing and singing! My heart was full of joy while we danced and laughed. It was so much fun!
Jesus then spoke a quick word for us. He said, “Tis the season of good tidings. There are so many good things coming to you. Take some time today and let Me fill your heart and mind with joy.
Drop the worries! There is no need for it – for what is coming is more than you could ask or think.
The old is passing away. Hail the new, My children. It is coming!

Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la…’”
Philippians 4:4 – “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.”
Thank You, Jesus. We have so much to celebrate this season, for it is unlike any other season we have been in. We are in a New Era, and God is bringing in a new way for us to do things. The old ways are going away.
‘Tis the season to be jolly – indeed! Yes! Celebrating the birth of Christ is what this season is all about – but this year, we have even more to celebrate!
It is a season to rejoice because what is coming will be so much better – and that is because the Lord heard our prayers, and He is answering them in a mighty way!
Hallelujah! Glory to God!
‘Tis the season to be jolly! Sing and dance with Jesus today. Let His joy overcome you and celebrate the mighty things He is doing for every single one of His children. Amen!
