When the storm is raging all around you, and you feel overwhelmed – remember Jesus is there.

When you just want to cry and give up – remember Jesus is there.

When things seem like they will never change or get better – remember Jesus is there.

We all have these moments when life seems to be too much to handle, but we must remember Jesus is with us through all of it. It simply means it’s time to go sit with the Lord. Give it all to Him and let Him minister to those things deep within you that are tearing you apart.

Only He can calm the raging storm.
Only He can encourage you to keep going.
Only He can assure you that things will change, and they will get better.
Only Jesus can bring you the peace you desperately need.

While praying a few days ago, I felt the Lord’s presence all around me as I prayed and worshipped. I felt His peace wrap around me, and I immediately felt comforted. I needed it more than I realized.

I love Christmas time. I love that we celebrate the birth of Jesus – but it can quickly become overwhelming with all the hustle and bustle that comes with this season. I was feeling this way when I went to sit and wait on Him – and as soon as I felt His presence, I knew the best thing for me was to just sit with Him for a while.

He reminded me of Mark 4:39. He spoke to the raging sea, “Peace! Be still!” And everything grew calm.

It was such a wonderful reminder of who He truly is – as well as the power and authority we all have because of His death on the cross. How truly blessed we are that He rose again and is still very much alive today.

I then heard Him speak. He said, “When the storm begins to rage all around you – remember Me. And remember who you are – a son or a daughter of God.

Speak to the raging storm, ‘Peace! Be still!’ And watch as the storm dissipates.

Do not doubt the power and authority you have.

By faith – decree and declare it, and it will be done for you.

Your words have power. Speak them with all the authority you have in Me, and I will send an entire army of angels to wipe away the storm. I will restore to you My peace that surpasses all understanding.

Do not let anything the enemy is doing overpower you.

Stand up!

My word is your weapon. Speak My words and the enemy will flee every single time.

Use wisdom. Do not falter because of lack of knowledge.

Ask Me, and I will show you.
Seek Me, and I will be found.

I will give you the wisdom you need.

‘Peace! Be still!’ Speak it – and watch what I will do for you!”

Woohoo! Wow! Thank You, Jesus, for your encouraging words today. Thank You for reminding us of the power and authority we have because of what You did for each one of us.

If you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious today – Stand up! Speak the words, ‘Peace! Be still!’ Ask for help from the Lord, and He will send an entire army on your behalf.

Isn’t God good?

I pray many blessings over you today, and I pray that the peace of God flows through you and all around you during the most wonderful time of the year.

In His love,
Kathy
